Complete Asanawa Conditioned Kit (26ft Set)

Our Asanawa rope takes advantage of fine jute fibers to produce a lite weight rope that is ideal for advanced riggers seeking fast rope. Whilst not our most durable rope, asanawa is an exceptional choice should you wish to trade lifespan for a greater level of performance.

  • 9x 26ft (8m) lengths of 6mm Asanawa (Premium Jute)
  • 2x 1oz Bars of Beeswax

This 100% purejute rope is indistinguishable to the ropes being used in Japan and offers a higher thread count than most other jute ropes being offered by alternative suppliers. It is very difficult to go past the asanawa range, constructed in the traditional 3 plait twist, this jute rope will not disapoint in any of the three bondage disciplines, whether you identify with hojojutsu, kinbaku or shibari.

This set is sold as nine lengths of 26ft (8m) with two bonus bars of Bees Wax. The lengths of asanawa have been pre-cut and ready for you to condition the rope using a gas burner and the bees wax provided. We advise against wet conditioning this rope type - unless you have enjoyed some messy play and need to wash your ropes - the jute selected for this asanawa range is sufficiently soft and will break in with only two or three fun sessions of kinbaku.

A Note on Finishing Asanawa

Because our Asanawa range is so supple directly off the reel our favorite finishing method for this rope is dry conditioning with bees wax to provide the fibers with protection.
